*Riding is defined as:  Being on the horse/pony riding in a saddle or bareback.
Exception:  Showing a horse or pony in a halter or showmanship class at any HORSE SHOW  will count toward time.  At a DCHA Horse  Show the time may be doubled.

NOTE:  Be sure to keep track of all riding hours on the  RIDING LOG FORM when you turn them in

Please record time on the log as a total number of hours for the trail ride. For example, log 3.50 hours instead of 1 pm - 4:30 pm.

Also, please use decimal increments of time:
       .25 minutes for 15 minutes of riding time                                     1hr.15 min. = 1.25
       .50 minutes for 30 minutes of riding time                                     1hr. 30 min. = 1.50
       .75 minutes for 45 minutes of riding time                                     2hr. 45 min. = 2.75

Always drop back to the closest increment if your time doesn't stop exactly at one of the above increments. For example, if you ride 3 hrs. 20 min, record 3.25. That allows time for lunch and pottie breaks.
