About Hamby Creek Trail:

The trail is approximately 5 miles in length and is constructed through the wooded buffer of a closed landfill cell.
It is a primitive trail with several loops.
Trail hours are: 8 AM to 7 PM

Use of the landfill buffer for a trail in North Carolina is unique to Davidson County. It is our way of offering sustainable recycling to residents and visitors to our county.
